Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Aura application ("Application"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any term, do not use the Application.
2. License
Rocketapps grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use Aura on Mac devices owned by you or under your control, subject to these terms.
Aura is sold as a one-time purchase (no subscription). Upon purchase, you receive a permanent license for the acquired version. Future updates are subject to the update policy in effect at the time of each version.
3. Use Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the Application;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application;
- Remove or alter intellectual property notices;
- Use the Application for illegal or unauthorized purposes;
- Attempt to access restricted operating system components in a manner not intended by the Application.
4. AI Features
Aura offers optional AI features (transcription and note processing) that can be integrated with third-party services such as Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Ollama (local models).
- Using these features requires you to provide your own API key;
- When using external AI services, your data is processed according to the terms and privacy policy of the respective provider;
- Rocketapps is not responsible for data handling performed by third-party AI providers;
- Local models (such as Whisper CoreML or Ollama) process data entirely on your device.
5. Microphone and System Access
To function correctly, Aura may request access to:
- Microphone: exclusively for recording voice notes, when activated by the user;
- System data: CPU, RAM, and disk usage, for display in the system monitor;
- Local storage: for intelligent cleaning of caches and temporary files, with user confirmation.
6. Updates and Modifications
Rocketapps reserves the right to:
- Update, modify, or discontinue Application features;
- Amend these Terms of Use, with notification to users via Application update or website publication.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided "as-is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rocketapps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the Application.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy
1. Privacy Commitment
Aura was designed from the ground up with privacy as a core principle. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored on Rocketapps servers. All processing occurs locally on your device, except when you explicitly choose to use cloud-based AI features.
2. Data Collected

- 2.2 Data stored locally All information generated by Aura is stored exclusively on your device. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time directly through the Application or Finder.

3. Microphone
Aura requests microphone access only for recording voice notes. Audio is recorded only when you manually start a recording, is stored locally on your device, and is never sent to Rocketapps.
If you choose transcription via an external AI service (e.g., OpenAI Whisper API), audio will be transmitted to the chosen provider. This transmission only occurs with your explicit authorization.
4. AI Features and Third-Party Services
When you enable external AI integrations:
- Submitted content (text or audio) is processed by the chosen AI provider;
- Rocketapps has no access to this data;
- Each provider has its own privacy policy (Anthropic, OpenAI);
- Local models (Whisper CoreML, Ollama) process everything on-device, without sending data to the internet.
5. System Monitor
CPU, RAM, and disk data displayed in the System Monitor are read directly from the macOS (Darwin) kernel APIs in real-time and are never stored or transmitted. They are used exclusively for display in the interface.
6. Smart Cleanup
The cleanup feature identifies and removes temporary files and caches from your device. No files or cleanup reports are sent to Rocketapps. All operations require explicit user confirmation before any deletion.
7. Purchases and Payments
Purchases made through the Mac App Store are processed entirely by Apple. Rocketapps does not receive or store payment data. For purchases through other channels, please refer to the payment processor's policy.
8. Children
Aura is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect data from children.
9. Security
Since data is stored locally, security depends on the protection of your device. We recommend:
- Keeping macOS updated;
- Using a password and/or Touch ID on your Mac;
- Regularly backing up with Time Machine or similar.
10. Your Rights
In compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018), you have the right to:
- Access: know what data exists about you (for Aura, all of it is on your device);
- Correction: edit or correct your notes and transcriptions directly in the app;
- Deletion: delete all your notes, transcriptions, and application data at any time;
- Portability: export your notes and transcriptions in open formats;
- Consent withdrawal: disable permissions (microphone, etc.) in System Preferences.
11. Changes to this Policy
Any changes to this Policy will be communicated through an Application update or publication on the Rocketapps website. We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically.
